Hello there. I’m happy that you stopped by to learn a little about me. I’m Renee Decker, and I became an Estate Planning Lawyer to help families avoid conflict and confusion during one of the most trying times of life – after the death or incapacity of a loved one.

Whether you have a traditional, non-traditional, blended or furry family, I’m here to help every person in the greater Tampa, New Tampa, Lutz, Wesley Chapel, Zephyrhills, Winter Springs and greater Orlando area navigate the maze of legal and financial decisions related to life, death and incapacity. Because I believe planning for death and incapacity is as much about peace of mind during life as anything else.

I’ve developed a passion for helping professionals plan for their young children while also taking care of mom and dad. My approach is to become a trusted counselor for the entire family, so you know your loved ones have someone to turn to when the time comes. And to make sure you have a plan that you know will work, and how it will work, giving you peace of mind over the years to come.

In 2008 I graduated from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, and went to work for a couple of AM Law 100 firms for twelve years, before deciding to venture out on my own in hopes of serving clients in a different way. I am a part of some of the most prestigious professional associations related to estate planning, including New Law Business Model, as a Personal Family Lawyer®, Wealth Counsel and Elder Counsel.

I love educating my community on the topics of Estate Planning for Busy Families, Estate Planning Basics and Special Needs Planning. I’ve been a speaker for the Florida Bar Association, and have presented to numerous professional organizations and companies. I am an active member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and the Florida Bar Association.

And, most importantly, I am a mom to my wonderful, rambunctious and fun loving sons, Cole and Corbin, who my husband and I raise with a host of pets they’ve dragged in on us over the years, including Bolt the Rat Terrier, Spencer the Maltese, Max the cat, Ash the bearded dragon, Merle the box turtle and Moonbeam, the beta fish.
